Mister Earnest Bunbury is, as his name
should suggest, nobody. Or perhaps, nobody but a fool, which is to
say, an excuse. If we wished to be more generous, then we might say
that he is a man of no importance who is content to remain so.
This little text is not the
author’s first attempt to introduce tarot games beyond their
Continental homes. While smaller in scope than the previous effort,
this one is a little better conceived, though some jest has been
employed in its execution which he hopes the reader will forgive.
